Job summary

PwC Canada in Calgary is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation within the Total Rewards team to lead the development, implementation and evolution of compensation programs, frameworks and processes that support our people strategy.

You’ll partner with Human Capital leaders and business stakeholders to provide trusted advice, drive enterprise-wide initiatives, and ensure programs remain competitive, equitable, scalable and compliant.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in compensation, total rewards or HR with broad-based compensation expertise.
• Experience guiding senior leaders on compensation strategy and policy interpretation.
• Experience designing or advising on incentive compensation programs.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian compensation-related legislation, including pay equity and transparency.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and translate into business recommendations.
• Experience with compensation technology and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PwC Canada's primary compensation subject matter expert.
• Lead design, governance and evolution of compensation frameworks and policies.
• Influence decisions through market insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Oversee annual compensation cycles, including merit and bonus processes.
• Monitor market benchmarking, surveys and workforce modelling.
• Advise Human Capital and business stakeholders on complex compensation matters.
• Ensure compliance with pay equity, transparency, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external consultants and vendors to maximise value.
