Job summary

Semtech is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor for a contract role, focusing on technical recruiting within the semiconductor and high-tech sectors. The candidate will handle end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions and collaborate with stakeholders to meet hiring objectives.

You will source and assess candidates for engineering, manufacturing, and R&D roles, build a strong employer brand, and maintain ATS records. Prior experience in campus recruiting and Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience in semiconductor/high-tech industries.
• Experience recruiting for niche technical roles (hardware/software engineers, IC design, etc.).
• Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and specialized boards.

Responsibilities

• Support hiring needs across US, Canada, Mexico and parts of Europe.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment from requisition to offer.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates.
• Create compensation proposals and lead offers/negotiations.
• Maintain ATS records and provide updates to hiring managers.
• Develop relationships with universities and industry groups.
