Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Resource and Mine Planning Manager to assess reserves and resources for Central Canada, ensuring SEC SK-1300 reporting compliance. You will collaborate with senior planners to develop mining plans and optimize resource utilization while prioritizing safety and regulatory adherence.

The role involves coordinating with operations, environment, and land teams, overseeing field investigations, and leading project management across geotechnical, drilling, and hydrogeology tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geo-science, Geology or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience in aggregates, construction materials or mining.
• Professional engineering or geology certification (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo).

Responsibilities

• Assess and estimate reserves and resources; support SEC SK-1300 reporting.
• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term mine plans to optimize extraction.
• Coordinate cross-functional data delivery for SEC reporting.
• Oversee field investigations, drilling, sampling and mapping of deposits.
• Lead projects with geotechnical studies, hydrogeology and resource estimation.
