Job summary

Amrize Canada Inc. is seeking a Resource and Mine Planning Manager to assess and estimate Central Canada’s reserves and resources, ensuring SEC SK-1300 compliance and annual reporting. You will collaborate with senior planning managers and cross-functional teams to provide operational support and develop mining plans.

You will lead field investigations, geotechnical studies, and project management for diverse tasks, emphasizing safety, efficiency and cost control on our Canadian sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geo-science, Geology or related discipline is required.
• Masters degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology or related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience, preferably in aggregates, construction materials or mining.
• Professional engineering or geology certification (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo) is required.
• Proficiency in resource estimation, mine planning and geological software (e.g. AutoCAD, QMS, Softree, GIS, LSS or Vulcan).
• 30-40% travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological investigations and assist with volumetric analyses and reserve estimations to support operations and reporting.
• Compile field investigations, test data interpretation, and prepare reserves and resources reporting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups to compile data for SEC reporting and filings.
• Annually generate reserves and resources reports in compliance with regulations.
• Develop short, mid, and long-term mine plans to optimize resource extraction.
• Oversee geotechnical studies, drilling, hydrogeology and other studies; coordinate consultants.
