Job summary

MERGE is seeking a Qualitative Insight Director to lead research projects, translate findings into strategy, and mentor the team. You’ll design studies, write proposals, moderate sessions, and guide client relationships with empathy and energy.

You’ll bring 5+ years of agency or market research leadership, travel when needed, and a commitment to our health-focused, human-first approach. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary range and a pathway to shape how brands understand people.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience moderating and delivering client deliverables in a market research or agency setting.
• Demonstrates ability to translate research findings into actionable strategy.
• Willingness to travel and adapt scheduling to project needs.
• Compliance in time-tracking and adherence to PV/HCP regulations and data privacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a consultative client mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design, execution, and reporting for qualitative studies.
• Moderate 1:1 and group sessions; synthesize insights into client-ready deliverables.
• Mentor and coach team members; collaborate with other Merge teams.
• Nurture client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Incorporate frameworks and industry knowledge to elevate strategy.
