Job summary

FLINT is seeking a Proposal Specialist in Calgary, Alberta. You will develop commercial and technical proposals in coordination with Business Development, Operations, and other teams, ensuring client-focused solutions align with strategic goals.

The role requires strong written communication, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Pro. You will manage the full proposal process, track opportunities in Salesforce, and lead content editing and deadline management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in proposal development.
• Advanced technical writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro for documentation.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM for tracking opportunities.
• Degree or diploma in Business, English, Technical Writing, or Communications preferred; CET or PMP certification assets.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Development and internal teams by planning, writing, editing, and compiling high-quality proposal packages ready for submission.
• Manage the full proposal process including RFPs, EOIs, SOIs and pre-qualification documents while addressing client clarifications.
• Track multiple client opportunities using Salesforce CRM and maintain data accuracy and analytics.
• Organize and manage proposal files, identify scopes of work, and assess subcontracting potential from RFP specs.
• Assign tasks to contributors and ensure timely content submission with quality editing.
