Job summary

FirstService Residential in Mississauga is seeking a Business Development Director to drive strategic sales initiatives and lead marketplace sales activities. You will collaborate with Market Leaders, executives, and Marketing to generate leads, prepare proposals, and close contracts.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and business development skills, with the ability to work with internal senior associates to close sales and hit targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent; 5+ years in business development or sales in HOA/property/real estate services.
• Proven success in securing new business and meeting targets.
• Experience partnering with HOA boards, developers, or condo boards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of client development strategies for existing PM clients.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure property services contracts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities via networking and lead gen.
• Manage full sales cycle: needs, proposals, RFPs, presentations, negotiations.
• Use CRM tools to maintain lead data and pipeline performance.
• Support expansion of market territories with trend analysis and insights.
• Attend strategy meetings and report on pipeline progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop proposals and value messaging.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and close new business.
• Onboard new accounts with cross-functional teams.
• Uphold company values, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
