Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Controls professional to join our nationwide teams. Under supervision of the PCO, you will act as an expert in project control disciplines and support project teams with analyses, recommendations, and improved methods to enhance delivery quality and predictability.

You will conduct complex analyses on costs, schedules, risks, changes, and performance indicators; develop and standardize tools and processes; identify risks and opportunities; and contribute to

Qualifications

• College or university degree in project management, engineering, administration, or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in project control or a related field.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required; drafting/reviewing documents in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Act as an expert in their project control discipline.
• Perform complex analyses related to costs, schedules, risks, changes, or performance indicators.
• Develop, improve, and standardize management tools, methods, and processes.
• Produce strategic analyses and recommendations for project management.
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks and opportunities.
• Support project teams in addressing complex issues.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews against established standards.
• Contribute to training and mentoring of coordinators and analysts.
• Participate in continuous improvement of departmental practices.
• Monitor best practices and technologies applicable to project control.
