Pomerleau in Montreal is seeking a dedicated FP&A professional to support planning, budgeting and financial analysis for its business units.

Under the Manager of Planning and Financial Analysis, you will lead budgets, forecasts, KPI tracking, and financial modeling, partnering with executives to drive strategic decisions and project performance. This hybrid role offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic construction group.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, business administration, or finance.
• CPA designation.
• 3 to 5 years of FP&A or accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and rigor.
• Ability to synthesize and analyze information.
• Efficiency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities.
• Initiative and leadership.
• Being proactive.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a strategic partner by leading complex analyses and influencing financial decisions.
• Lead development and implementation of the annual budget with VPs and leaders.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasts and support project managers.
• Manage project budgets by establishing budget structures adapted to project types.
• Provide financial analyses and reports identifying variances from targets and recommending solutions.
• Prepare financial documentation for senior management, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare month-end activities, including cost control reviews and accrual entries (WIP).
• Monitor risks and opportunities for projects under responsibility.
• Collaborate with departments to develop, update, and maintain financial models.
• Conduct operational analyses of construction projects.
• Implement KPI tracking tools and analyze variances for performance improvement.
• Update the order backlog monthly.
• Participate in FP&A tech development (OneStream).
• Assist in preparing annual audit files.
• Demonstrate initiative by engaging administrative teams in launching new projects.
