Job summary

Thales Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Project Buyer to manage the PR/PO lifecycle, from requisition to order and fulfillment. You will work with project teams to ensure timely delivery while upholding terms and quality standards.

The role requires experience in procurement, RFx/RFP activities, and supplier coordination, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. This is a hybrid position offering collaboration across functions and boundary-spanning initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma with relevant procurement experience.
• Experience with PR/PO workflows and supplier onboarding.
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Process PRs and convert them to accurate POs per policy.
• Expedite orders and monitor supplier delivery commitments.
• Coordinate RFx/RFP activities and maintain records.
• Collaborate with project teams and management to prioritise orders.
• Resolve PO discrepancies and support accounts payable activities.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian export controls and internal policies.
