Job summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly analytical leader for the role of Manager, Divisional Planning and Reporting in Edmonton. This permanent, full-time position leads strategic planning, performance measurement, and financial oversight within the Innovation and Program Development Branch of the Public Security Division.

Applicants should have a university degree and at least four years of progressive experience in planning and reporting, with strong Excel and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

  • University degree required and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in strategic planning, business planning, performance measurement, reporting, policy development, program evaluation, or a related field.
  • Equivalency: directly related education or experience considered on the basis of one year of education for one year of experience.
  • Additional skills: leadership, facilitation, relationship management, and strategic business advice to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Division’s planning, reporting, and performance measurement functions with financial oversight.
  • Develop and implement a performance measurement framework and analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Lead the Division’s reporting functions, including input into annual and quarterly reports and ERM coordination.
