Job summary

Westland Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations & Programs to transform strategy into scalable programs and to lead a high-impact People & Performance function.

Based at our Surrey head office, this hybrid role partners with senior leaders to improve employee experiences, governance, and service delivery. You’ll drive operational excellence, lead major programs, and champion new ways of working including automation and AI to support Westland’s growth across Canada.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years progressive HR leadership experience.
• Proven ability turning strategy into action with scalable programs.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field; advanced tech proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across People & Performance and improve service delivery.
• Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of key programs and projects with governance and roadmaps.
• Support acquisition integration and consistent employee experience across Westland.
• Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives with measurable progress.
• Champion automation, technology, and AI to streamline processes and experiences.
