Job summary

Carmens Group in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Partnerships & Special Events Manager to lead partnerships, sponsorships, and vendor programs to drive revenue and strengthen the brand. You will build a preferred partner program, recruit vendors, create sponsorship packages, and plan Carmens Group-produced events across venues, including New Year’s Eve celebrations and seasonal activations.

Candidates should have 3-5+ years in related fields, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills,

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in partnerships, sponsorships, sales, hospitality, events, or vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in hospitality, weddings, tourism, entertainment or events is a plus.
• Experience creating new revenue streams or growing partnership programs will stand out.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow Carmens Group's Preferred Partner Program across multiple venues.
• Recruit and manage strategic vendor relationships including entertainment, décor, photography, DJs, and more.
• Create partnership packages, pricing models, sponsorship opportunities and value-added programs.
• Collaborate with Sales teams to maximize referrals and revenue opportunities.
• Plan and execute Carmens Group-produced events such as New Year's Eve celebrations, Mother's Day Brunches, Seasonal activations, Community events, and new concepts from idea through execution.
• Oversee budgets, vendor coordination, ticket sales strategies, marketing collaboration, operational planning and post-event analysis for internal events.
• Identify new corporate sponsors and community partners; manage sponsor relationships from proposal through fulfillment.
• Deliver measurable value that encourages long-term renewals.
