The Consumer Operations team at Uber Canada launches and scales new mobility products, advances key growth bets, and optimizes the journeys of both riders and earners. We are passionate about delivering a world-class experience to customers and contributing to the top-and bottom-line growth of Uber.

This new role will focus on developing strategies and campaigns that will drive rider growth. You will be responsible for managing key initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and delivery of key programs. You are both highly operational and entrepreneurial, with a strong eye for business, a hands-on approach, and motivated by building the future of mobility.

We're looking for someone with the curiosity to dive deep on critical business issues, and the foresight to understand how our decisions today will impact our business tomorrow. This role will work closely with cross-functional counterparts (i.e. Central Ops, Marketing, Product, Legal and other counterparts) to scale key products across Canada. You will have an immediate impact on the ground, and on the future of one of Uber’s most important Ridesharing markets!

What you will do

  1. Grow our rider base: Support rider growth in Canada by launching and scaling new campaigns, products and tactics. You’ll develop an understanding of market dynamics across Canada while developing strategies and deploying tactics that help to acquire, convert, and retain users. This includes key initiatives across pricing, promotions, product configurations, and the in-app experience.
  2. Manage programs/projects: Translate strategic priorities into concrete projects & work closely with teams across the market to deliver on execution at its highest potential.
  3. Reporting & Recommendations: This role will require you to deliver strategic recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions, while reporting on performance at a product, city and regional-level. You will need a strategic mind with strong business acumen, exceptional analytical skills and strong stakeholder management skills to influence and coordinate across a variety of teams.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience in roles which included project delivery, process optimization and implementation, stakeholder management, and data analysis
  2. Outstanding teamwork, communication and organizational skills; experience managing & influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally
  3. Data-driven problem solving abilities, with a knack for turning data into meaningful insights that advise decisions
  4. Ability to thrive with ambiguity; high capacity to learn; willingness to experiment and iterate

Preferred Qualifications

  1. SQL skills with experience pulling and analyzing data
  2. French proficiency

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$89,000 per year - CAD$99,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
