Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant discipline; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years relevant purchasing experience required.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to decompose complex subjects.
• Thorough understanding of defined procurement P2P processes.
• Knowledge of local supplier markets and product/service portfolios.
• Familiar with total Cost Ownership, risk management and savings monitoring.
• Proficiency in SAP and strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage local purchase requisitions for indirect products and services.
• Verify requisition quality and correct buying channel.
• Execute local purchase requisitions and process orders.
• Collaborate with planning on production schedules and MRP levels.
• Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and preferred supplier programs.
• Identify savings opportunities and report locally.
