Job summary

Ontario Shores seeks a Learning and Organizational Development Specialist to drive learning initiatives across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance development. You will oversee LMS and Performance Management systems and lead project-driven improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years in L&D or OD, with a degree in HR or related fields, and strong facilitation and English communication skills. Onsite work with potential after-hours flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, adult education, or organizational development.
• Degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Certificate in Instructing Adults is an asset; Articulate Storyline is an asset.
• Experience with change management theories and practices to develop customized interventions.
• Proven experience with leadership models and competency frameworks; strong facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply learning theory to support diverse learning and professional development initiatives.
• Conduct training needs assessment and analysis.
• Design blended learning solutions with SME content.
• Facilitate onboarding and administer LMS and performance systems.
• Support Leadership Development Strategy and organizational development interventions.
• Administer data collection and analyze data to improve effectiveness.
