Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Canada seeks a Business Development Manager to prospect new accounts and grow margins in under-penetrated markets. You will leverage SiteOne resources and CRM tools to manage opportunities and drive sales across green-industry products.

The role requires 3–5 years in new customer sales with strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a college- or degree-backed business acumen. On-site collaboration with sales teams and store personnel is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of new customer sales experience.
• Green industry knowledge of landscape, irrigation, or nursery preferred.
• Proven prospecting, negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to leverage CRM to manage accounts and opportunities.
• Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new accounts and key decision makers.
• Expand margins in under-penetrated accounts using SiteOne resources.
• Promote SiteOne capabilities including SiteOne University and Partner’s Program.
• Collaborate with Sales Support, Line of Business Specialists, and store staff to ensure orders are placed and fulfilled.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
• Report progress and use CRM to track opportunities.
