Job summary

RBC in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Senior HR Initiatives Specialist to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across HR Operations. You will analyze, design and implement optimized business processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include documenting processes, SOPs, business requirements, testing plans, and reporting; analyzing workflows to identify root causes and opportunities; facilitating workshops

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business process analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive opportunities for improvement as well as telling a story.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including flowcharts, standard operating procedures, business requirements, business case, testing plans, project status updates and relevant reporting.
• Analyze HR operational processes and workflows to identify root cause and areas for improvements, optimization and automation
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand root causes.
• Support the design of new processes while collaborating with senior members of the team, as well as Technology and Digital Solutions teams.
• Monitor process performance metrics and KPIs to measure success and opportunities for further enhancements
