HMSHost is seeking an HR Business Partner I to lead policy execution and partner with Operations across Calgary locations. You will support local HR programs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure compliant, effective people practices.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of HR experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. This role requires on-site presence five days a week with potential travel, and offers growth in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or HRCI-SPHR certification preferred.
• 5–7 years HR experience; hospitality/retail experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Directs HR activities for locations with up to 600 team members and moderate sales.
• Manages full employee life cycle: attraction, onboarding, development, retention, offboarding.
• Advices Operations leaders on policies, engagement, retention, and performance issues.
• Establishes positive labor relations and supports contract negotiations under guidance.
• Ensures HR practices comply with policies and laws; maintains confidentiality.
