Synechron seeks a seasoned Business Development Director to drive strategic growth in Canada’s Financial Services sector. You will lead new logo acquisition, expand key client relationships, and establish long-term partnerships with banks, insurers, wealth managers, and capital markets firms.

The role covers strategy, deal closure, and executive engagement, with hybrid work and opportunities across digital transformation, data, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and managed services.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Consulting Sales.
• Minimum 5 years selling technology consulting/services into Banking or Financial Services organizations.
• Proven success acquiring new logos and generating multimillion-dollar consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development & Hunting: Develop plans to acquire new banking and financial services clients across Canada.
• Logo Acquisition & Market Expansion: Open new logos within the Canadian Financial Services ecosystem.
• Account Mining & Farming: Expand existing client relationships via cross-selling and upselling.
• Technology Consulting & Solution Selling: Articulate AI, Cloud, Data, DevOps, Cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with client executives and cross-functional teams.
• Proposal & Deal Management: Lead RFPs/RFIs and negotiate SOWs/MSAs.
