Job summary

Fed Finance is seeking a Controller to oversee accounting operations for the Greater Montreal area. You will manage a 2-person team, ensure accuracy across entities, and maintain internal controls in line with ASPE/ASNPO and tax requirements.

You’ll drive month-end close, provide management with insightful financial analyses, collaborate with the IT team on ERP enhancements, and liaise with auditors and stakeholders to support financing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation in good standing required.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in French; working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycle for all group entities.
• Lead Accounting team (2 employees) and set priorities.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for management.
• Coordinate month-end close and ensure internal controls and reliable financial information.
• Support external auditors, financing activities, and regulatory reporting.
