Job summary

Algonquin College in Ottawa is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to oversee the administration, financial stewardship, HR operations, procurement support, and planning for Student Support Services and related portfolios.

You will develop multi-year budgets, forecast revenues and expenditures, manage funding, and lead workforce planning, reporting, and service improvements in collaboration with College leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year degree in Business.
• CPA designation required.
• 7+ years in management with progressive responsibilities.
• Experience in HR management and financial budgeting.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standards (AODA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Student Support Services and broader Student Services operations.
• Provide financial, HR, and procurement leadership.
• Develop multi-year operating and capital budgets.
• Forecast revenues and expenditures and manage funding.
• Lead workforce planning and employee relations.
