Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and reconciliations.
• Experience in a Canadian startup or growing business, manufacturing, or lab.
• Familiarity with Canadian tax requirements.
• Experience using QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day finance activities and banking.
• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and supplier payments.
• Oversee purchasing processes and vendor management.
• Coordinate government grants and funding documentation.
