Job summary

The Surrey, BC-based manufacturing and distribution group is seeking a Finance Lead / Controller who blends hands-on execution with strategic oversight. You will partner with ownership, drive FP&A, manage a multi-entity finance function (including a U.S. entity) and lead a 3-person team through growth.

Base salary ranges CAD 135,000– CAD 155,000 with annual bonus and RRSP matching up to 5%. Extended health benefits accompany the package as the organization expands, offering a path to Director of

Qualifications

• CPA designation with years of post-designation experience.
• Controller-level or senior finance leadership experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution or inventory-intensive environments.
• Strong inventory costing and margins knowledge.
• Forecasting, budgeting, cash flow and financial modelling experience.
• Experience leading a finance team across multi-entity setups.
• Cross-border (U.S.) finance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to ownership, guiding financial decisions.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Develop 6-12 month projections and business plans.
• Evaluate new projects and investments for financial viability.
• Oversee cash, assets, banking, and financing activities.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting including U.S. entities.
• Strengthen internal controls, reporting processes and systems.
• Mentor the finance team and collaborate with other departments.
