Job summary

AML Oceanographic Ltd. seeks a seasoned finance leader to own the operating plan, rolling forecast, and monthly leadership-pack reporting, partnering with the COO and BU leaders and absorbing acquisitions onto AML's platform.

You will drive operating financial leadership with potential evolution toward CFO, overseeing cross-border finance activities and building a scalable FP&A stack while ensuring disciplined, decision-useful management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years finance leadership experience across growing organizations.
• Experience with post-close financial integration of acquisitions is a strong plus.
• Experience in PE-backed or multi-jurisdiction environments is advantageous.
• Canadian work authorization or eligibility and willingness to base in Canada with periodic travel.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Operating Plan: track progress against the plan.
• Owns Forecast Accuracy: maintain reliable rolling forecasts.
• Owns Reporting Cadence: deliver timely financial packs to Leadership Team.
• Owns Cash Conversion Cycle: optimize cash flow and working capital.
• Owns Post-Close Financial Integration: lead integration of acquired entities.
• Leads the FP&A stack and reporting infrastructure for scale.
• Provides on-point financial counsel to COO and Business Unit leaders.
• Ensures close cadence, audit readiness, and compliant financial operations.
