Job summary

Wanuskewin is hiring a Director, Finance and Administration to lead financial management, administration, and HR functions. The role collaborates with the CEO and leadership to ensure long-term sustainability through sound stewardship, planning, and strong internal controls.

Key duties include budgeting, cash flow forecasting, audit management, funding reporting, and IT oversight. Candidates should have 5+ years in finance/administration in the nonprofit sector and an undergraduate business

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive responsibility in finance, administration, nonprofit leadership, or related field.
• Undergraduate degree in business is required.
• CPA designation or progress toward designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management practices for stewardship, cost efficiency, and operating results.
• Develop and maintain operating and capital budgets, cash flow, and forecasting.
• Manage annual external audit process and report to the Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance and reporting for all funding sources.
• Oversee accounting and internal reporting cycles and HR administration.
• Oversee IT services and external support.
