Job summary

The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto is seeking a Manager, Event Sales and Accounts to drive private hire and museum sales while expanding a portfolio of high-value clients. You will build pipeline, close deals, and coordinate with events, operations and finance to ensure profitable delivery.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will refine sales processes, prepare proposals, manage RFP responses, and represent the museum at industry events to grow revenue and strengthen community

Qualifications

• Minimum university undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field.
• 2-5 years of progressive sales experience with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven track record meeting or exceeding revenue targets in client-facing roles.
• Experience developing sales strategies, managing pipelines, and closing complex accounts.
• Background in nonprofit or institutional services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support private hire sales strategy and revenue targets.
• Manage high-value client relationships from prospecting to contract close.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue reports for leadership.
• Refine sales processes, pricing, and package offerings.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Events, Operations and Finance.
