Avenue.io Inc. in Edmonton (Downtown) is seeking an Event Services Project Lead to manage complex, multi-stakeholder events across the Alberta public service. Two positions are available in a full-time, permanent role.

You will lead events from start to finish, align with APS leaders, ministry representatives, and vendors, and oversee logistics, governance, and risk to ensure high-quality participant experiences. The role emphasizes service excellence and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum recruitment standard: University graduation and 2 years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Experience leading events and/or stakeholder engagement in a public sector environment.
• Experience preparing briefing materials to secure decisions from senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead events from start to finish: develop workplans, coordinate timelines, plan resources.
• Coordinate with APS leaders, ministry representatives, vendors to move events forward.
• Oversee event setup and onsite operations, troubleshoot issues, ensure quality.
• Navigate governance with senior leaders via established approval processes.
• Manage risks and shifting priorities; propose practical solutions as needed.
• Gather feedback and implement improvements to tools, processes and standards.
