Job summary

Sun Life is seeking a Communications Advisor for Corporate Real Estate to lead strategy, planning and delivery of workplace communications across the portfolio. You will partner with CRE and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate information and elevate the CRE brand through storytelling.

The role requires 3–6+ years of experience, a degree in communications or related field, and excellence in written and verbal communication. This position supports a hybrid work environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of relevant experience.
• University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
• Proven ability to build relationships across teams and regions.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
• Corporate real estate, workplace or property management communications experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning and governance of workplace and tenant communications.
• Develop integrated communication plans and messaging that support the employee experience, operational priorities and enterprise objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace and building communications.
• Establish and maintain communication standards, processes and best practices that drive consistency, quality and effective information sharing.
• Lead the delivery of employee-facing communications, including building notices, operational updates and workplace announcements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support communications for workplace projects, programs, events and change initiatives.
• Strengthen the CRE brand through strategic storytelling that showcases the team’s impact, services and contributions across Sun Life.
