Job summary

Sun Life Corporate Real Estate (CRE) leads workplace strategy and experience. The Communications Advisor will partner with CRE leadership to plan and deliver employee communications across Sun Life's portfolio, ensuring timely, accurate information and a strong CRE brand.

You will develop integrated communication plans, manage stakeholder relationships across regions, and tell stories that demonstrate the team's impact.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of relevant experience.
• University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communication.
• Proven ability to build relationships across teams and regions.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.

Job Description:

Corporate Real Estate (CRE) plays a central role in shaping Sun Life's global workplace experience. The Communications Advisor, CRE will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning and delivery of communications that support workplace initiatives, operational priorities and employee experience objectives across Sun Life's portfolio.

This role will serve as a strategic communications partner for CRE, establishing communication frameworks, leading workplace communications and driving alignment across key stakeholders. The role will ensure employees receive accurate and timely information while advancing operational excellence and strengthening the CRE brand across Sun Life.

What will you do?

• Lead the strategy, planning and governance of workplace and tenant communications
• Develop integrated communication plans and messaging that support the employee experience, operational priorities and enterprise objectives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace and building communications
• Establish and maintain communication standards, processes and best practices that drive consistency, quality and effective information sharing
• Lead the delivery of employee-facing communications, including building notices, operational updates and workplace announcements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support communications for workplace projects, programs, events and change initiatives
• Strengthen the CRE brand through strategic storytelling that showcases the team's impact, services and contributions across Sun Life

In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
