Recruiting in Motion is seeking a Conference Content Manager in Toronto to lead the research, planning, and content development for a portfolio of professional development conferences. The role focuses on turning industry trends and regulatory developments into engaging themes, agendas, and speakers.

This is a content and programming role, not logistics. You will collaborate with internal teams and external experts to shape approximately eight in-person conferences yearly and explore seminars,

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in professional conference programming or related field.
• Experience translating research findings into conference content and learning programs.
• Ability to develop conference themes, agendas, and speaker programs.
• Strong network with subject matter experts and industry professionals.
• Excellent writing, research, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven project management capability across multiple programs and timelines.
• Commercial awareness and ability to evaluate audience demand and revenue opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Lead content strategy and programming for a portfolio of eight in-person conferences annually.
• Research industry trends, regulatory developments, and professional learning needs to identify timely topics.
• Develop compelling conference themes, sessions, agendas, and educational programming.
• Identify, recruit, evaluate, and engage subject matter experts, speakers, leaders, academics, and regulators.
• Coordinate speaker briefings, content development, and speaker contracting activities.
• Analyze market research, member feedback, registration trends, and competitive offerings to improve programming.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Events, Operations, Sponsorship, and Product teams to launch and deliver conferences.
• Identify opportunities to extend conference content into seminars, certificates, on-demand learning, and other offerings.
• Manage multiple development timelines, priorities, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to portfolio performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
