Our client is a respected professional educational and training organization dedicated to advancing professional excellence, education, and industry standards across Ontario. With a strong commitment to lifelong learning, the organization develops conferences, professional development programs, and educational offerings that help professionals stay informed, connected, and prepared for an evolving business environment.
The Conference Content Manager will lead the research, planning, and content development of a portfolio of professional development conferences, as well as work to develop offshoot learning experiences. A central focus will be developing approximately eight in-person conferences annually, transforming industry trends, regulatory developments, and professional learning needs into compelling themes, agendas, speaker lineups, and educational experiences.
This is a conference content and programming role, rather than an event logistics position. You'll work with leaders and subject matter experts to determine what professionals need to learn, identify the right experts to deliver that content, and collaborate with internal teams to bring each conference to market.
You’ll also identify opportunities to extend conference content into seminars, certificates, on-demand learning, and other professional development offerings.
Hybrid schedule with three days per week onsite in Toronto. Collaborative environment involving internal product, marketing, events, sponsorship, and operations teams. Regular engagement with external speakers, industry leaders, subject matter experts, and professional stakeholders. Multiple conference programs and development timelines running concurrently. Opportunity to influence the direction of professional education and learning products.
This is an opportunity to shape the professional learning experiences of a large and influential professional community. You’ll have the freedom to explore emerging topics, build relationships with respected industry experts, and create conference programs that help professionals navigate important changes in their fields.
The organization offers a collaborative working environment, comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a hybrid work arrangement.
