Job summary

Egis Canada invites applications for a Senior Commercial Director to lead all commercial activities within large projects in a Joint Venture environment. You will oversee contract administration, change management, risk and claims, and ensure compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

In this role you will provide strategic guidance, mentor commercial staff, drive process improvements, and ensure efficient contract execution in alignment with company policies and project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Commercial Management.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Leadership training and experience is an asset.
• Chartered status or membership in a relevant professional body is highly desirable.
• Experience in infrastructure and Alternative Delivery models is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Egis commercial representative towards the Client, Owner, and external third parties.
• Provide direct guidance, mentorship, and leadership to contract and risk management staff on the project.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and facilitate approval of all design service agreements and subcontractor agreements.
• Update and maintain project agreements with amendments and change orders.
• Develop detailed scopes of work, invoices, and schedules for subcontractor agreements.
• Prepare commercial project reports and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
