Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Director, Change & Claim Management to lead change management, claims handling, contractual entitlement, and commercial risk across major infrastructure projects. In a JV or integrated delivery environment, you will advise project leadership, protect contractual rights, quantify changes, and negotiate settlements while coordinating with legal and executive teams.

This role requires a strong commercial background with 15+ years of experience in complex project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial management, contract management, change management, claims management, or project delivery on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in JV, Design-Build, or progressive delivery models is an asset.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
• Designations such as P.Eng., PMP, MRICS, PQS are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management, claims management, entitlement analyses, and dispute avoidance.
• Negotiate change orders and claims with clients, partners, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Advise project teams on commercial risks, opportunities, and entitlement positions.
• Support development of risk registers, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and project leadership to shape claim strategies.
