Job summary

Oakbridge Search Partners partners with a leading specialty construction contractor delivering complex commercial, institutional and healthcare projects across Western Canada. Reporting to the President, the CFO will lead finance, accounting and controllership while driving forecasting, working capital, and project profitability to scale the organization.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Strong experience in construction, specialty contracting or another project-based environment.
Deep expertise in construction accounting and project financials.
Strong forecasting, cash flow and controllership capabilities.
Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions.
Experience in a growth-oriented or private equity-backed environment is preferred.
CPA designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead finance, accounting and controllership.
Own forecasting for revenue, EBITDA, cash flow and working capital.
Oversee construction accounting, WIP, job costing and project profitability.
Partner with operations and project teams to improve forecasting and margin visibility.
Provide strategic analysis and financial modelling to support growth decisions.
Strengthen financial processes, systems and controls.
Lead and develop the finance team.
