Job summary

RBC in Toronto seeks a finance professional to analyze capital position (CET1, TLAC) and support senior executives with actionable recommendations, leveraging automation and AI to improve forecasting and capital planning.

You will drive scenario analysis, validate assumptions across business units, and develop the Capital Plan and Strategic Outlook, presenting results through dashboards and executive summaries.

Qualifications

• Must have a university degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or regulatory capital.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Advanced skills in databases, spreadsheets, and presentation design.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to collaborate with senior professionals across business units.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RBC's regulatory capital position and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, analytics to improve forecasting and capital planning.
• Assess compliance with capital requirements and risk thresholds.
• Lead capital planning and communicate results via dashboards and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with business units to validate assumptions and ensure rigor of forecasts.
• Benchmark RBC's capital and performance against peers.
