Job summary

EQ Bank is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead enterprise planning, forecasting, and performance reporting in a hybrid Toronto role. You will partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into financial plans and ensure standardized, disciplined processes across the FP&A function.

Requirements include 12+ years in progressive finance roles, CPA/CFA or equivalent, and strong communication, analytics, and leadership skills to drive insights and capital

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related discipline.
• CPA or CFA designation or equivalent finance designation.
• At least 12 years of progressive finance experience with planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee the FP&A Centre of Excellence and ensure governance and consistency.
• Develop executive-ready financial narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee management reporting, KPIs, and data governance.
• Drive automation to improve speed, accuracy, and analytical capacity.
