Job summary

Toromont Cat is seeking a Branch Manager for our Brooklin operation, responsible for the profitability and integrity of Parts, Service and Equipment. This senior leadership role drives customer relationships and market growth in Eastern Canada.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, partner with Marketing and Finance, and ensure safe, efficient operations across multiple locations while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leadership experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• Proven leadership, coaching, mentoring and people development skills.
• Strategic thinker with negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset with change leadership and strong business acumen.
• Customer-centric with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Superior planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel with regular extended stays between branches.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Model safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in line with Health and Safety policies.
• Establish recruitment requirements to build the new branch team across equipment, parts and service operations.
• Support Facilities team on branch opening requirements and process design.
• Engage with Marketing on local promotion and build brand and capability awareness in the marketplace.
• Collaborate with other Branch Leaders to ensure smooth transition of roles and customer relationships.
• Develop yearly branch objectives aligned with Toromont’s 3-Year journey and set goals with accountability.
• Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead Equipment Sales and Parts teams toward achieving sales business goals.
