Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to service and maintain client accounts, support consultants, and drive growth through cross-selling. You will collaborate with clients, carrier representatives, vendors, and HUB colleagues to deliver comprehensive benefits solutions through the policy lifecycle.

In this role you will respond to inquiries promptly, coordinate renewals, and manage communications and documentation. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Employee Benefits experience.
• LLQP designation or working towards it.
• Advanced professional designation (CEBS, GBA) desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to listen, discern, and prioritize with clients and colleagues.
• Adapt to situations requiring precise attainment of limits and standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office; broker management systems.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the main day-to-day contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries.
• Support the Consultant with renewal processes, materials, and account coordination.
• Liaise between clients and insurance carriers to address service needs and marketing.
• Organize and conduct client meetings as needed.
• Manage carrier changes with clients and ensure timely documentation.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities for HUB products and services.
• Oversee client and employee communications.
• Manage new client or new line of coverage implementations.
• Stay updated on insurance industry changes and external conditions.
• Maintain an open-items log and close items promptly.
• May travel for client meetings up to 25% of the time.
