Job summary

Ensero Solutions is seeking a Manager - Marketing & Business Development to lead proposal development, capture planning, and strategic marketing initiatives across Canada. You will oversee a team of proposal professionals, drive branding consistency, and coordinate with development leaders to pursue opportunities and grow revenue.

The role requires 10+ years in environmental marketing or mining, strong leadership, and proficiency with CRM/ERP systems, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience in environmental consulting or mining.
• Proven track record leading complex proposal development efforts including capture support and strategic pursuits.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
• Ability to align business development strategies with corporate objectives and manage large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration across different business units.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team of Business Line Specialists and Proposal Coordinators involved in the creation of proposals and business development initiatives.
• Lead pursuit strategy, including pre-positioning, capture planning, opportunity evaluation, and Go/No-Go decision support.
• Manage end-to-end proposal development for opportunities of varying size and complexity, from capture through submission and presentation, including client debriefs and lessons-learned activities.
• Establish proposal strategies, themes, and win messaging aligned with solicitation requirements and corporate differentiators.
• Ensure proposal compliance and quality through solicitation analysis, compliance matrices, reviews, and final submission oversight.
• Coordinate technical teams, proposal staff, and subconsultants to deliver cohesive, single-voice submissions.
• Oversee resource allocation, organizational performance, and accountability across marketing team of Business Line Specialists and Proposal Coordinators.
• Oversee development and maintenance of marketing collateral and branding across documents.
• Develop dashboards and provide regular reporting on various BD/marketing related metrics.
