Job summary

Guelph General Hospital in Guelph, ON is seeking a Stores Supervisor to manage the stores, materials management and distribution for Just in Time inventories. You will provide leadership to distribution staff and collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of medical and surgical supplies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Admin or related field.
• 2–4 years experience with computerized inventory systems and barcode tech.
• Experience with EDI and procurement principles.
• Supervisory experience in stores/warehouse, unionized setting preferred.
• Knowledge of JIT, forecasting and accounting basics; MS Office and Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Oversee replenishment and distribution of Just in Time inventories.
• Lead process improvements and staff supervision in Materials Management.
• Handle inventory counts, cycle counts and reporting.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for service levels.
