Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years related experience with knowledge of medical/surgical supplies and inventory systems.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must read/speak/write English fluently with excellent communication.
• Mathematical skills at basic to intermediate level relevant to the position.
• Capable of meeting physical requirements in a multi-temperature environment.
• Experience in materials management operations is essential.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and service-oriented skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision.
• Familiarity with order entry and materials management systems; willingness to upgrade skills as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate stock on all Units and Departments.
• Survey inventory items and distribute supplies to appropriate areas.
• Act as liaison between Materials Management and user areas.
• Replenish stock as required.
• Respond to end-user requests professionally.
• Operate Trakker system uploads/downloads and battery maintenance.
• Verify orders and initiate variance processes.
• Handle shipping and receiving functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
