Responsibilities include accurate inventory counts, RAAS label printing, proper packaging, and maintaining LB/RAAS-aligned bin locations, with attention to detail and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory-counting experience preferred; aviation familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
  • Fast and accurate data entry abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with RAAS is an asset.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

  • Print labels using RAAS and ensure correct labeling.
  • Package and label parts with RAAS barcode.
  • Consolidate like-numbered parts in one location and reflect in RAAS.
  • Ensure all bin locations reflect the contents.
  • Identify discrepancies and report to Supervisor.
  • Reception duties; answer phones, receive mail, and order office supplies.

Job description

You are detail-oriented with a strong background in shipping or warehousing, and an interest in the aviation industry. As Stores Agent, you will be responsible for providing support to the Stores team, counting inventory items, entering data into the tracking system, shipping/receiving and covering the reception area.

Summit Helicopters delivers remote helicopter aviation solutions across Western and Northern Canada with one of the largest and most diverse fleets in the industry. Our crews are highly experienced in challenging operational environments, and safety and reliability are at the core of everything we do.

This is a resident role based in Kamloops, BC. Relocation is required.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate count of all current inventory items

  • Carry out the applicable printing of labels using our Remote Aviation Access System (RAAS)

  • Ensure that all parts & components are properly packaged and clearly labeled with RAAS barcode

  • Consolidate all like numbered parts together in one location and have that location reflected in RAAS

  • Ensure all bin locations are properly labeled to reflect the parts within

  • Identify possible discrepancies in inventory and or labeling and report to Supervisor

  • Perform scanning, photocopying and filing as needed

  • Reception duties; answering phones, receive mail, order office supplies

Requirements
  • Previous experience doing inventory counts preferred; familiarity with the aviation industry would be an asset

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel

  • Quick and accurate data entry skills

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work productively in an unsupervised environment and prioritize effectively

  • Excellent attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy

  • Experience with Remote Aviation Access System (RAAS) would be considered an asset

  • Must meet pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements
