Job summary

Roots, a Canadian lifestyle brand, is hiring a Team Lead for Midtown Plaza Store 230 in Saskatoon. You will connect the leadership team and the sales associates by assisting in the operational functions of the store and motivating the team to exceed goals.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Team Lead provides support and coverage to the Store and Assistant Managers in their absence. They model desired selling and customer service behaviours at all times to promote an environment

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in a retail apparel environment
• Proven ability to lead a sales team
• Experience with POS management and daily banking procedures
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Passion for upholding an exceptional customer experience
• Collaborate with others, yet be self-motivated
• Availability for varied weekly shifts including weekends, closing and holidays

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a customer-obsessed selling culture and build brand loyalty through product knowledge
• Partner with store management to execute action plans and ensure store operations run smoothly
• Contribute ideas to leadership for increased productivity and better operations
• Assist in onboarding and training new associates
• Coach associates on customer service fundamentals and provide feedback
• Oversee tasks and delegate to maximize efficiency of store operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold a safe, welcoming store environment
