Job summary

RONA in Sherwood Park, AB, is seeking a warehouse associate to manage backstock, inventory flow, and returns while supporting store operations. You will receive deliveries, sort and store products, coordinate shipments, and assist with RTV duties.

The role requires forklift experience, inventory handling, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily. Ideal candidates have prior retail or warehouse inventory experience, basic arithmetic skills, and comfort working in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift/power equipment
• Experience in a warehouse with inventory handling and stocking
• Experience in retail environment handling inventory and stocking
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily without assistance
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction)
• Ability to work under difficult conditions (cold, heat, noise, heights)

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow on shelves (unpack, sort, forklift transport)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments; authorize unscheduled deliveries and maintain space for incoming products
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received and related documents
• Complete Return to Vendor duties; communicate with vendors as needed
• Collaborate with store teams on merchandise movement and delivery inquiries
• Order parts for different products
• Additional duties to keep store running smoothly

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory on store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming products
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory received as well as related administrative documents
• Complete Return to Vendor (RTV) duties; communicate with vendors as necessary
• Work with other store teams with regards to merchandise movement and delivery inquiries and concerns
• Order parts for differents products
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
  

What we're looking for:

• Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
• Experience in a retail environment dealing with inventory handling and stocking
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily without assistance
• Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• Ability to perform under difficult work conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, heights, or while being exposed to constant/intermittent sounds (if applicable)
