Job summary

RONA in Vancouver is seeking a team member for the Receiving and Handling role to ensure smooth and accurate product flow from deliveries to store shelves.

You will operate forklift and other store equipment, schedule deliveries, maintain inventory integrity, and support overall store operations in a safe, detail‑oriented manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, scanner)
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with material handling equipment is an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
