RONA Atlantic is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth product flow on the store floor. You will receive deliveries, move stock with a forklift, and maintain accurate inventory records with precise paperwork.

The role emphasizes health and safety, attention to detail, and teamwork to keep shelves stocked and operations efficient in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Become a key member of our Receiving and Handling team! Turn every incoming delivery into a success by ensuring smooth and accurate product flow. Your attention to detail will make all the difference.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Computer entry of orders receptions
• Price change and display
• Locate and relocate the merchandise
• Inventory count
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
• Good physical condition is an asset
