Job summary

RONA in Ontario is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth and accurate product flow from delivery to shelving. You will receive product deliveries, sort, unpack, and transport using forklift and pallet jacks to appropriate areas.

Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, authorizing unscheduled deliveries, and maintaining inventory integrity. A strong eye for detail and safety are essential to help keep the store running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience operating store equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Sort and unpack deliveries and transport to shelves using equipment.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
