Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member at our Windsor location. You will ensure smooth product flow, receive deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory while operating forklift equipment.

The role requires attentiveness to detail, commitment to health and safety, and the ability to perform related store tasks to keep operations seamless. This position supports community-focused retail service and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience operating store equipment like forklift, pallet jacks or other material handling gear.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory and paperwork.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace and adherence to procedures.
• Proven ability to work in a team and support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
