Job summary

Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager in Edmonton to set the tone for the store and drive performance. You will lead customer-focused operations, merchandising and staff development to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to execute the store strategy, recruit and develop Brand Associates, and ensure consistent SOPs while maintaining Gap brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and staff performance.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Collaborate with General Manager to execute store strategy and achieve performance goals.
